StarLIGHT Productions is a Children’s Performing Arts Company that was founded in 2022 by Carrie Snyder.

The company’s first introduction to the Elko community was a production of the play “The Nutcracker Prince“, which was met with much success.

Residents of Elko and the surrounding areas have embraced what the company has to offer and StarLIGHT Productions is excited to continue to offer more experiences involving the arts to the children in the community.

Why a company geared towards Kids?

“The dream of starting a company like StarLIGHT Productions has been in the works for many years. As a child, I directed neighborhood plays to perform for our parents, and went on to perform on the stage throughout my Jr. and High school years. I continued to pursue musical and theater experiences during my college years as well.

I am now in the season of life that I can make my dream of starting a music and theater company a reality. God has blessed me with different gifts and talents, and I’ve always felt He has wanted me to use them for good, to spread light and joy to others.

After years of pondering and praying, I felt opening a children’s community company/studio was the answer. I am of the opinion that it is children who embody light and purity, so what better way to spread light than through them?”
